Our BLACK CATALYST can only be used with Soft 107, Medium 122 and Firm 128 Silicone bases. It is ideal for making rubber parts for your models (tires, straps, bumpers, bladders, etc) the ratio is a little different eg. 100 gr Base. How much catalyst you use will determine how dark your part will be. We suggest ratios of bewtween 15% & 30% by weight. (some shrinkage is expected)

DBT Tin Based Silicone Accelerator
WILL CALL ONLY – cannot be shipped. DBT is a one part additive used with condensation cure silicones to increase the cure speed. This is a by weight mix ratio. An accurate gram scale is recommended. IMPORTANT: Working time is drastically reduced in proportion to how much DBT you use. FG – Food Grade Mold Making RTV Silicone Rubber
FDA Compliant with CFR 177.2600
Excellent for the molding and casting of chocolates, a wide variety of candies, dough, pastries, confectioneries and other gouret food reproductions. Available shore A hardness 7, 22 and 28.
The FG – FOOD GRADE Catalyst and Silicone Base Systems main application is indirect food contact applications governed by CFR 177.2600. Any compositional deviation will result in the material being non compliant. This applies to OFF RATIO mixing and the use of additives.
Indirect Food Additive Regulations
CFR 21 parts 174-178 are “Indirect Food Additive Regulations”, of which CFR 177.2600 is part of. CFR 177.2600 covers “rubber articles intended for repeated use”. These are the guidelines that the FG catalyst conforms with. The specific use definition from CFR 21 177.2600 is as follows:
“Rubber articles intended for repeated use may be safely used in producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting, or holding food, subject to the provisions of this section”. This section being 21CFR 177.2600.
Further, these materials are not intended to have any technical effect in the food. QM Cat FG has been tested with QM230, 107, 122, 128FG (10% catalyst) per the guidelines of CFR 177.2600 and the material has been found to be compliant. FDA Compliant with CFR 177.2600

Silicone Fluid
Our fluid is 100cps. It is used primarily for the softening / plasticizing of silicones. When you add the fluid DON’T FORGET TO ADJUST YOUR MIX RATIO if you don’t you may incur leeching / silicone fluid bleeding issues. This additive lowers the durometer of our silicones.
